MEDICAL --- Each participant must take responsibility for their own safety. We will have a medical person on standby but be aware that they could take several hours to reach an injured person – hence the compulsory equipment. Should medical attention / evacuation be needed, the cost of this will be for the competitors account.
FITNESS AND COMPETENCY --- The team is physically fit, competent and sufficiently trained to participate in this event and assume all risks of participation, including pre- and post-event activities.
RULES AND REGULATIONS - The team hereby confirms they have read and understood the Rules & Regulations as stated on this website.
MEDIA --- The team agrees that the team and its members, name, photographs, video tape, broadcasts, telecasts, any advertising promotion may be utilized free of charge.
REFUNDS --- Once your entry has been paid, the organizers starts planning for your teams involvement and starts incurring costs with various suppliers, etc. As such, a full refund in case of a withdrawl is not possible, but the organizers will try to reimburse as much of the fee as possible, minus any costs already incurred or committed. Teams are welcome to sell their entry on to others.
INDEMNITY --- The team hereby release and discharge the Cyanosis Adventure Race, organizers, volunteers, landowners, sponsors, medical personnel and all authorities from all claims for injury, damage and property loss suffered by any team member caused by negligence of any of them and deriving out of the team's participation in the event.
